Okay, so not exactly 'empty' or 'abandoned,' rather 'demolished,' but still. I know nothing of this pub first-hand am not even sure I even saw it before it was demolished. All info comes from the site http://norridge.me.uk/home.htm .
Standing on the corner of Armes Street and Northumberland Street, The Little John was built in 1864, torn down in October 2005. Called the Beerhouse util March 1961, it was destroyed during the Second World War (although how, I do not know) and operated from a wooden stall until it was rebuilt by 1957.
