Foot. Step.
Gloves
For it is that time of the year when the heartbreaking sight of the single lost glove is just oh so familiar.

Birdhouse
The Earlham Park dovecote, overlooking the River Yare, and only a minute or two away from Earlham Hall. In the warmer months this corner of the park is replete with picnickers and paddlers. The dog walkers remain present, whatever the weather.

The Fortress Falls: The Remains of Burgh Castle
The remains of Burgh Castle, taken a few weeks ago on a blisteringly cold Sunday morning. Thought to have been built in either the third or fourth century, this Roman fort overlooks the expanses of Breydon Water. Burgh Castle has been suggested as being the military fort Gariannonum (although eveidence also points towards the fort at Caister-on-Sea being this site) and / or Cnobheresburg, the first Irish monastery in Southern England, founded in the seventh century by Saint Fursey. Both claims are open to dispute.

Snowscapes
Yep, everyone is sick of it by now, but snow is just inherently fascinating to me. These were taken of the Bunkers Hill area of Bowthorpe, Norwich, on a morning when a very familiar world seemed mysterious and shifting. Glad to get back for a cup of tea, mind.

Above the Books
Sort of a companion set to October's 'Subterranean Butchery,' these instead are of the vacant flat above the Waterstone's bookshop in Norwich's historic Royal Arcade.
