Although a non-smoker, old-fashioned tobacconists such as Churchills do hold a definite whimsical charm: big old jars of mysteriously named blends, the smell, the general vibe of times long gone. The number of smokers in the UK is falling: pipe smoking, and the paraphernalia that goes with it, is an increasingly rare sight these days.
Churchills stood on St Andrews Street for twenty three years. It was the last remaining traditional tobacconist in Norwich.

Sad to learn that this place has gone. I grew up in Norwich and have fond memories of this place - the smell and character of the shop was amazing!
