Easter Sunday morning skulking in the woods, and I came across the remains of a haphazard campsite / drug den. A thin plastic sheet erected from a few branches, blowing in the wind, put me in mind of a certain M R James bedsheet ghost: "... at once the spectator realised, with some horror and some relief, that it must be blind, for it seemed to feel about it with its muffled arms in a groping and random fashion..."

Coltishall in Colour
Having a play around with colour for the first time in what seems like a while. Walking the quieter spots of Coltishall, just outside of Norwich.

A Pause in Spending: Empty Norwich on Christmas Morning
No small irony in the fact that the quietest retail day of the year comes wedged between the chaos of Christmas shopping and the scramble of the Boxing Day sales. This is Norwich on Christmas Day morning: a strange and empty vibe, populated by lone figures who all feel slightly separate from society, if only for those fleeting moments in which they pass by you on the quiet streets.
